Add web resource with SNI in Digital Access

This article describes troubleshooting when adding a web resource in Smart ID Digital Access component that requires SNI (Server Name Indication).

The following error message may show up in the Access Point system log if SNI is not enabled:

1031603 Proxy error: Could not connect to host "www.acme.se". handshake failure, HttpBrowser info=1032209

To resolve this:

  1. Configure the web resource to use the DNS name the service is known as.
  2. Enable Send Server Name Indication on the web resource host on the Advanced settings tab.
