Step-by-step instruction

  1. To find the advanced settings in Personal Desktop App, click Settings > Advanced.
  2. In Authentication and signing, define which certificates will be available for authentication and signing. The following options are available:
    • Off = Use all certificates that are available on your computer. To view all available certificates, go to the Windows User Certificate Manager.
    • On = Use only certificates that are available in the profiles in Personal Desktop App.
  3. In General Behaviour:
    1. Set the toggle button to Minimize Window to minimize Personal Desktop App after a successful operation.
    2. Select Target for P12 import from the drop-down list: VSC, Software, TPM or Yubikey.
  4. In Logging, you have the following choices:
    1. Select the Level of logging or select No logging.
    2. Set Flush log file on every write to On or Off.
By setting it to On, you make sure that the log data is saved for example before the computer is turned off. However, this setting slows down the app.
    3. To read the log data, you can select to OpenSaveEmail or Share the log.
