- Keep - will keep encryption certificates.
- Remove - will automatically remove encryption certificates used for protecting P12 certificates during enrollment and installation.
- Toggle button at Minimize after successful operation:
- Minimize Window - will minimize Smart ID Desktop App after a successful operation.
- Leave window unchanged - will leave the Smart ID Desktop App window as it is after a successful operation.
- Toggle button at When P12 file import fails:
- Continue importing - ignore errors and continue the import process.
- Abort importing and delete profile - stop the import process.
- Toggle button at Grant permission to create VSCs:
- Granted - the administrator gives consent to VSC creation to all users
- Not granted - no permission to create VSCs is given
- Select Target for P12 import from the drop-down list: VSC, Software, TPM or YubiKey.
- In Logging:
- Select the Level of logging or select No logging.
- Toggle button at Show hidden certificates:
- Select if hidden certificates shall be shown or remain hidden. (Certificates and keys prefixed with a . (dot) are no longer displayed in the app.)
- Toggle button at Flush log file on every write:
- On - log data is written from the log cache to the log file, every time a transaction is committed. However, this setting slows down the app.
- Off - log data is written when the application is closed.
- You can select to Open or Save the log file.
- In ID06:
- Click Register key service provider to register Key Storage Provider (KSP) with the ID06 card. This can also be automated during installation. See the "registerid06" parameter in Install and upgrade Smart ID Desktop App for more information.
