The main data source for identities is the organization's Active Directory (AD) or Human Resources (HR) system.
To enroll persons in the Smart ID solution, identities are automatically imported into the Smart ID manager from the main data source, and automatically synchronized on a configurable interval. For the card production, photos must be available in the identity data. There are different options available to capture or upload photo. There are also manual workflows to manage identities, for example to add persons that are not registered in the AD or HR system, modify roles, and activate and deactivate persons.
