Mobile ID

The Smart ID Mobile ID package includes a set of best-practice use cases for how to supply a mobile ID for a user, lock a mobile ID, and more, during the full life cycle. The use cases are described in detail and are divided between the roles operator and self-service user.

A mobile ID defines a profile containing personal information stored within the Smart ID Mobile App, which is installed on a user's mobile device. By using dedicated workflows via Smart ID Identity Manager, you can enroll different kinds of certificate types (authentication, signature or encryption) to the mobile device and use them to, for example, authenticate yourself through different applications/services.
