Version: 5.13.3

Release Date: 2019-09-05

Introduction

Nexus Hybrid Access Gateway 5.13.3 has been released today.

This release solves the problem with configuring Skolfederation as an Identity Provider and having to point out the old Skolfederation server in the local host file as a workaround. The Skolfederation will permanently change to the new server which requires customers to upgrade to this version.

Configure Hybrid Access Gateway via Administration Web Service

Hybrid Access Gateway now offers REST-based web services that allow the configuration of certain object types without using the administration interface.

The web services were built using Swagger and support communication based on JSON objects. Swagger provides a detailed documentation, as well as an editor to run the interface directly in the browser. You can find this within your Hybrid Access Gateway deployment under the URL:
https://<hag admin service dns name>:8443/swagger.

The types of objects that can be configured will be extended over time. With this release the following types are supported:

  • Web resources
  • Tunnel resources and tunnel sets
  • Access rules
  • SSO domains
  • DNS names
  • Property groups

Furthermore, the following functions are supported by the web service:

  • Upload, move and delete files (file browser)
  • Publish

The authorisation towards the web service is handled by an OAuth 2.0 access token that is issued by Hybrid Access Gateway itself. See Configure OAuth 2.0 in Hybrid Access Gateway.

HAG-1538

Improved Configuration Publish

The publish of the configuration file was improved. The file gets compressed and decompressed during publish as well as for historic configuration files. Furthermore, the parsing of the configuration file was improved to reduce the amount of used memory as well as to speed up the parsing.

HAG-1651

JournalId log size limited

Journald log size has been limited to acceptable values to avoid unnecessary usage of disc space.
