Nexus is proud to announce the availability of Nexus Personal Desktop App 1.2.
Main new features
PKI encoding of smart cards
Personal Desktop App can now perform PKI encoding of smart cards, for a complete Smart ID solution together with Smart ID Identity Manager and Smart ID Messaging. The predefined Smart ID workflows in Smart card management are managed by PKI encoding in Personal Desktop App.
Register ID06 certificates for authentication and signing
Certificates on ID06 cards can now be registered in Personal Desktop App to be used for authentication and signing with LoA 2 (where LoA means Level of Assurance).

Store keys in Microsoft keystore
It is now possible to use Personal Desktop App as a software provider for storing keys in Microsoft's keystore.

Limitations
The new features for using ID06 certificates and acting as a software provider to store keys in Microsoft keystore are NOT supported for Windows 10 version 1703.
