Important notes on this release

Important note for Personal Desktop Client on Windows.

A critical error with Personal Desktop Client was detected as a consequence of the Windows 10 update KB4480976 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4480976/windows-10-update-kb4480976) published on 15 Jan 2019.

The error is manifested in the way it is no longer possible to login with Internet Explorer to secure pages using certificates on smartcard. Internet Explorer asks for certificate selection, but then closes the page with the error message "A problem with this web page caused Internet Explorer to close and reopen this tab". Personal Desktop Client PIN entry popup does not appear at this stage.

The error has been identified and corrected in Personal Desktop Client and consequently the following new releases are now  available for overcoming the critical issue:

Personal Desktop Client 4.30.1 for customers on major release number 4.
Personal Desktop Client 5.1.1 for customers on major release number 5.
