This article describes how to view, assign and withdraw permissions for objects in Nexus PRIME, for example processes.

Step-by-step instruction

 Log in to PRIME Designer
  1. Log in to the PRIME Designer as an admin user.
 Set permission from PRIME objects

To specify which users and roles shall have read access to the template:

  1. In PRIME Designer, go to Home.
  2. Select an object group from the list on the left hand side, for example Process Designer, and double-click on a Process Design name to open it for editing.
  3. Go to the Permissions tab.
  4. Select what to update permissions for in the left side, for example, select Start process.
  5. In the right hand side you assign or withdraw permission for users and roles to start the process in PRIME Explorer.
  6. To add permissions for a user, click the Add user icon and select the user in the drop-down list.
  7. To add permissions for a role, click the Add role icon and select the role in the drop-down list.
  8. Click Save.
  9. For Delete and Update (if present), you allocate permissions to delete and update the configuration object of this process in PRIME Designer in a similar way.
