Uninstall Certificate Manager server components and clients

This article describes how to uninstall Smart ID Certificate Manager (CM) server and client components.

Prerequisites

Server components

  • Backup all configuration files in <configuration_root>\config and all key and certificate files in <configuration_root>\certs before uninstalling the server components.

Client components

  • Backup all configuration files in <configuration_root>\config before uninstalling the client components.

Uninstall CM server components

Uninstall CM server components on Windows
  1. Use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel to uninstall Certificate Manager server components.
  2. Remove manually any files that have been added or created after the installation, since they are not removed during the uninstallation.
Uninstall CM server components on Linux
  • Run the following command:

    CODE
    <install_root>/install/setup.sh -u

Uninstall CM clients

Uninstall CM clients on Windows
  1. Use Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel to uninstall Certificate Manager clients.
  2. Remove manually any files that have been added or created after the installation, since they are not removed during the uninstallation.
Uninstall CM clients on Linux
  • Run the following command:

    <install_root>/install/setup.sh -u
