Prerequisites
Step-by-step instruction for the administrator
Log in to Identity Manager Admin
- Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.
Manage the option to have an approval step for "Request card"
- In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
- Select the script CardsScriptOptions.
In the section Approvals in the script, go to the CardsRequestApproval variable, see the example. By default it is set to true, that is, there is an approval step when you request a card for a user.
Example for the Request card use case:
- If you do not want to have an approval step when you request a card for a user, set CardsRequestApproval to false.
- Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
Manage the option to have an approval step for "Request multiple cards"
- In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
- Select the script CardsScriptOptions.
In the section Approvals in the script, go to the CardsBatchRequestApproval variable, see the example. By default it is set to false, that is, there is no approval step when you request multiple cards.
Example:
- If you want to have an approval step when you request multiple cards, set CardsBatchRequestApproval to true.
- Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
Manage the option to have an approval step for "Deactivate card"
- In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
- Select the script CardsScriptOptions.
In the section Approvals in the script, go to the CardsDeactivationApproval variable, see the example. By default it is set to false, that is, there is no approval step when you deactivate a card for a user.
Example:
- If you want to have an approval step when you deactivate a card for a user, set CardsDeactivationApproval to true.
- Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
Manage the option to have an approval step for "Reactivate card"
- In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
- Select the script CardsScriptOptions.
In the section Approvals in the script, go to the CardsReactivationApproval variable, see the example. By default it is set to false, that is, there is no approval step when you reactivate a card for a user.
Example:
- If you want to have an approval step when you reactivate a card for a user, set CardsDeactivationApproval to true.
- Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
Manage the option to have an approval step for "Lock card"
- In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
- Select the script CardsScriptOptions.
In the section Approvals in the script, go to the CardsLockingApproval variable, see the example. By default it is set to false, that is, there is no approval step when you lock a card for a user.
Example:
- If you want to have an approval step when you lock a card for a user, set CardsLockingApproval to true.
- Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
