Service release notes Certificate Manager 8.15.x

CM service release 8.15.1

All CM installations, including clients and server

CIS monitor thread startup exception

The CIS monitor thread now starts correctly when CIS is running as an external service. The CIS monitor thread is responsible for putting the external CIS instance into a non-operational state after a critical error.

Third-party library updates

Third-party libraries have been updated to address vulnerabilities.

Client-side signing for the certificates/json-to-pkcs12 endpoint

The certificates/json-to-pkcs12 endpoint in the CM REST API did not accept client-side signatures of the request body for POST requests. As a result, the endpoint could only be used with a server-side signing officer. This has now been corrected.

Rename lastSeenCertSerNr parameter in the ListCertificates endpoint

The lastSeenCertSerNr parameter in the ListCertificates endpoint of the CM REST API has been renamed to lastSeenCertId because the parameter contains a certid. This avoids confusion caused by the original parameter name.

The old lastSeenCertSerNr parameter remains supported for backward compatibility but is deprecated. The corresponding CM SDK parameter has also been renamed. Clients should migrate to lastSeenCertId.
