Cards (external production) - Manage option to select what certificates to issue

This article describes how to manage the option to select what certificates that shall be issued when activating a card for the Cards add-on External production package. A script in Identity Manager Admin is used to manage the options.

Step-by-step instruction for the administrator

Log in to Identity Manager Admin

  1. Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.


Manage the option to select what certificates to issue

  1. In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.

  2. Select the script CardsAddonExtProdScriptOptions.

  3. There are 3 variables in the script, see the example, see also section "Default value and outcome".

    Example:

    //---------------- Certificates ---------------- /* Defines if a authentication certificate will be issued during the card activation. Possible options: * true(default) - Authentication certificate will be issued. * false - Authentication certificate will not be issued. */ CardsAddonExtProdIssueAuthentication = true /* Defines if a signature certificate will be issued during the card activation. Possible options: * true(default) - Signature certificate will be issued. * false - Signature certificate will not be issued. */ CardsAddonExtProdIssueSignature = true /* Defines if a encryption certificate will be issued during the card activation. Possible options: * true - Encryption certificate will be issued. * false(default) - Encryption certificate will not be issued. */ CardsAddonExtProdIssueEncryption = false

     

  4. Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
