An operator wants to lock an active virtual smart card for a user.
This article describes how you as an operator locks an active virtual smart card for a user in Smart ID Identity Manager.

- The virtual smart card must be in state "active"
Step-by-step instruction for the operator
Log in to Identity Manager Operator
- Log in to Identity Manager Operator with your user account.
Lock virtual smart card for a user
- In the Quick search drop-down list, select User. Search for user that you shall lock a virtual smart card for.
Click Lock virtual smart card.
To cancel the process, see "Cancel the process" below.
- Click Next and the virtual smart card is locked.
Cancel the process
To cancel the process:
- Click Cancel to close the process.
- Click Next to proceed with the process.
