Detailed feature list
Features
JIRA ticket no | Description |
---|---|
SDK-351 | Support for second encoding position for Rio Pro 360 A second encoding position for Magicard Rio Pro 360 is now supported. this means that two different encoding technologies (for example, Mifare DESFire and Crypto Chip) can be executed on its dedicated position in one card production. |
SDK-362 | Encoding large segments on Legic Advant Reading and writing of Legic segments larger than 2kB on Legic Advant chips with SM-4500 encoders is now supported. |
SDK-365 | Changed behaviour for missing fonts In earlier Card SDK versions, when a font was not locally available while printing a card, a similar font was chosen automatically. To avoid unwanted changes of the card design, due to automatic font change, this behaviour has been changed, so that card production will fail with a corresponding error message if a font used in the layout is not available. |
SDK-366 | Support for new UHF reader M6E Nano The M6E Nano is now the standard UHF reader/ encoder. |
SDK-372 | Support for Evolis Quantum 2 Card SDK now supports the Evolis Quantum 2 for encoding DESFire and Crypto Chips. |
SDK-373 | Possibility to write protected areas on UHF chips It is now possible to write data into a protected/private area on the UHF chip. Formerly it was only possible to write the public area. |
SDK-402 | Reading Mifare Plus Partial support for Mifare Plus RFID Chips is now implemented. Mifare Plus 2K/4K chips that are set to Security Level 3 (SL3) can be read. This has been tested with the Omnikey 5x21 CL and 5x22 CL series readers. |
SDK-405 | Switch between simplex/duplex card printing A switch for card printing has been introduced. The switch is used to override the default duplex printing. You can now explicitly set if simplex or duplex printing should be done for a certain card job. |
Corrected bugs
JIRA ticket no | Description |
---|---|
SDK-363 | Fixed an issue with integrated encoding when executing two different RFID encodings in a printer with multiple encoding positions. |
SDK-374 | Changed log levels of licensing issues from INFO to ERROR. |
SDK-401 | Fixed memory leak when creating card previews, that caused increasing memory consumption. |
