Smart ID Self-Service
This article includes updates for Smart ID 23.04.
With Smart ID Self-Service, identity and credential management tasks, such as requesting, approval, download, and PIN reset, can be made directly by the credential owner or the respective task owner. Smart ID Self-Service is a part of Smart ID Identity Manager, uses HTML5 technology and can be used with all common browser types and on all common mobile devices.
Dashboard
On the Dashboard, you click on one of the "What do you want to do?"- buttons and the respective BPMN workflow starts on the Identity Manager Operator backend. The Dashboard menu item is mandatory. The other menu items - Cards, Mobile ID, Identities and so on are configurable, see Configure menu items in Smart ID Self-Service, this is just an example of how the menu items in Smart ID Self-Service can look like.
To change what you see in the "What do you want to do?" list, and to change the sort order, see Configure tasks (processes) in Smart ID Self-Service.
Open tasks
In the Open Tasks list you find the tasks to perform as part of a workflow.
The list of tasks (processes) that you see in Open Tasks are shown with the last created in the first position.
The user that is logged in can see running processes:
which are assigned to him,
or which have been designed in such a way that they need to be continued by somebody with a specific role, which is assigned to him.
Configuration
On the menu items Cards, Mobile ID, Identities and so on, you find lists of objects assigned to you, which are a result of a Search configuration in Identity Manager Admin.
Different objects, tasks and processes are visible to the users. This is controlled via roles (see Standard roles and bootstrap users in Identity Manager).
