Cards (external production) - Manage option to allow multiple card orders

This article describes how to manage the option to allow multiple card orders for the same user in the use case Order card (external production) in the Cards add-on External production package.

A script in Identity Manager Admin is used to manage the options.

Prerequisites

Manage the option to allow multiple card orders

In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
Select the script CardsAddonExtProdScriptOptions.
In the section Multiple cards in the script, go to the CardsAddonExtProdMultipleCards variable, see the example. By default it is set to false, which means that multiple card orders for the same user are not allowed.

Example:

/* Defines if multiple card orders for the same user is allowed. Possible options: * true - Multiple card orders for same user is allowed. * false(default) - Only one card order per user is allowed. */ CardsAddonExtProdMultipleCards = false
If you instead want multiple card orders to be allowed, set CardsAddonExtProdMultipleCards to true.
Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).

Default value and outcome

Value	Outcome
False (default)	Multiple card orders for the same user are not allowed
True	Multiple card orders for the same user are allowed
