Configure tasks (processes) in Smart ID Self-Service
This article includes updates for Smart ID 23.04.18.
This article describes how to configure what tasks (processes) to display, and in which order, on the Dashboard in Smart ID Self-Service under the heading "What do you want to do?".
The processes that appear in the Self-Service portal, on the Dashboard or as pre-login processes, must be explicitly defined in Identity Manager Admin.
Configure tasks (processes) to display
On the Dashboard in Smart ID Self-Service, under the question "What do you want to do?" the available tasks for a specific role in Identity Manager are displayed. Each task in Smart ID Self-Service relates to a process, and you must define which roles that should have the permission to start each process.
You can configure which tasks to display, and in what order to display them. You can configure the display and order from both Process Import and Process Designer.
Only processes which have a Self-Service user or Self-Service role can be configured as described below. Go to the Permissions tab in a process definition to modify the roles and user rights for the process.
Do the following to add a process to the dashboard:
In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Process Import.
On the Process Import page, click Show in SelfService Dashboard.
In the dialog that appears, select a process. You can use the arrows or drag and drop to reorder the displayed processes on the Self-Service dashboard. You can also add or remove processes.
In the Precondition column, click the plus sign to select condition type and configure the condition. From here, you manage what to display for the logged in Self-Service user regarding the processes on the dashboard. To save the settings, click Ok. For more information, see Configure process start validation.
Click Save.
The task and its order will now be displayed in the Smart ID Self-Service Dashboard under "What do you want to do?". To view it in Smart ID Self-Service, you must sign out and sign in again.
Pre-login processes
To make pre-login processes visible, the pre-login processes must also be defined in the dashboard. For more information, see Configure a pre-login process for Smart ID Self-Service.
