Mobile ID - Manage option to notify the user about a creation of a mobile ID

This article describes how to manage to notify the user about a successful or failed creation of a mobile ID, or to not notify the user at all in the use cases Supply mobile ID for a user and Get mobile ID (self-service user) in the Mobile ID package in Smart ID Identity Manager. A script in Identity Manager Admin is used to manage the options.

Step-by-step instruction for the administrator

Log in to Identity Manager Admin
  1. Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.
Manage the option to notify the user about a successful or failed creation of a mobile ID
  1. In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
  2. Select the script MobileIDScriptOptions.
  3. In the script, go to the MobileIDOptionNotifyAboutFailedOrSuccesfulCreation variable, see the example. By default it is set to true, which means that an email is sent.

    Example: 

    /* 
    Defines if an emails should be sent out (true) about the successul creation or about a failed creation:
     * true (default)
     * false 
    */
    MobileIDOptionNotifyAboutFailedOrSuccesfulCreation = true
  4. Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
