Save certificate to file in Certificate Manager
This article describes how to save a certificate, produced by Smart ID Certificate Manager (CM), to a file. This task is done in the Certificate Controller (CC) in Certificate Manager.
Prerequisites
This task requires that:
The Certificate Controller (CC) is running.
The user is at least a CMO. No specific role is required.
Save certificate to file
There are different ways to save a certificate to a file:
When soft tokens and attribute certificates are issued you can normally save a copy of the certificate in a file specified in File for Media. You need write access to the location where the certificate is to be stored.
You can also double-click on a certificate icon in the Issued Certificates dialog box in CC, when the certificate has just been issued. A certificate viewer is shown. Use the Copy to file button in the viewer to make a copy.
A third way is to view the certificate in CC as described in View and verify certificates in Certificate Manager and double-click on the certificate icon. Use the Copy to file button in the viewer to make a copy.
