Temporary cards - Manage option to set PUK length

This article describes how to manage the option to set the PUK length. This is used in the use case Assign temporary card in Smart ID Identity Manager, the Temporary cards package. A script in Identity Manager Admin is used to manage the options.

Step-by-step instruction for the administrator

Log in to Identity Manager Admin
  1. Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.


Define the PUK length
  1. In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.

  2. Select the script TempCardsScriptOptions.

  3. In the section PIN and PUK Management in the script, go to the TempCardsPUKLength variable, see the example. By default it is set to 8. Normally, this is not changed.

    Example:

    /* Defines the length of the PUK code. Possible options: * 8(default) - PUK length is set to 8. */ TempCardsPUKLength = "8"
