OAEP encryption support on more cards

OAEP encryption algorithms are now supported on cards that allow raw RSA operations by emulating padding in the software.


PUK change for Cosmo cards

It is now possible to change the PUK code on Cosmo cards.


On-card key generation for Cosmo

Cosmo cards can now generate keys on-board.

Corrected bugs

PER-4356PSS signatures with software padding (for example on CardOS 4.4) were incorrect. This has been fixed. 
PER-4356PSS signatures generated by the CTK module were incorrect for some algorithms. This has been fixed.
PER-4336Personal Desktop was not compatible with objects created using Charismatics middleware with Cosmo cards. This has been fixed.
PER-4392The Pinpad readers did not have support for PIN/PUK codes over 15 digits. This has been fixed. 


  • Support for the new Cosmo V7 and Cosmo V8.2 cards on macOS is limited to PKCS#11.
  • The browse dialog for soft token import does not work on macOS Catalina. Instead, manually enter the full path to the soft token and click Import. For more information, see Personal Desktop Client user's guide.
  • Windows 7 is supported only under extended contract. Contact Nexus for further information.
