NextVSC is compatible with Smart ID Desktop App version 2.2.3 and later versions. Latest version is recommended.

NextVSC Mobile requires minimum Hermod 4.8.0 and later versions, and Smart ID Mobile App 7.0 (iOS & Android) and later versions.

NextVSC Mobile is provided only as Limited Availability (LA) release and requires a separate installer, that contains both standard functionality as well as the Mobile part.

Remote Desktop (RDP) Support for NextVSC
NextVSC 1.7 introduces support for Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) environments. Users can now leverage their virtual smart card credentials when accessing remote Windows sessions, extending strong authentication beyond local workstation logons and enabling a more consistent authentication experience across physical and remote desktops.
Improved onboarding experience with Mobile VSC
The onboarding experience for Mobile Virtual Smart Cards has been streamlined. Users can now pair a Mobile VSC with NextVSC on Windows and complete their first Windows logon in a single workflow using a single QR code presented by the NextVSC Credential Provider. Requires Smart ID Mobile App 7.2 or later.
