Smart card management
Card data is primarily managed in the Smart ID Identity Manager, and exported to the physical access control system (PACS).
To manage the complete lifecycle of cards, there are many workflows to handle the different use cases for issuing, maintaining and locking cards.
Workflows for employee cards and external cards are the same, apart from that the two card types are connected to different card layouts and often have different validity.
