Unblock PKI PIN for smart card - online - Digital ID

When a person has forgotten or blocked the PIN, it can be unblocked via Smart ID Self-Service.

Standard workflow

Self-service user

Logs in to Smart ID Self-Service with AD credentials or the "Forgot Password" process.

Self-service user

Selects Unblock PKI PIN and enters the new PIN.

Identity Manager

Changes the PKI PIN on the smart card by using the PUK in the background that Identity Manager stores in an encrypted database field.
