Use case scenario
An operator wants to remove an own request for approval.
This article describes how an operator aborts an own request in Smart ID Identity Manager that is in state "requested". Read more here: Smart ID Workforce use cases
It can be, for example, a requested update in user data or an update for a card, that is no longer needed. This is used in the Users package and in the Cards package.
Prerequisites
- The request is in state "requested"
Step-by-step instruction for the operator
Log in to Identity Manager Operator
- Log in to Identity Manager Operator with your user account.
Abort request
Go to the SEARCH page.
- Select Request in the drop-down menu and click Search.
- Select the request that you want to abort.
Click Abort request.
To cancel the process, see "Cancel the process" below.
- Click Next to abort the request.

To cancel the process:
- Click Cancel to close the process.
- Click Next to proceed with the process.
