Use case scenario
An operator wants to lock an active mobile ID for a user.
This article describes how an operator locks an active mobile ID for a user in the Mobile ID package in Smart ID Identity Manager. You can also lock a mobile ID for a user directly when you click Supply mobile ID for a user that already has a mobile ID. In that case, a Lock button is available in Identity Manager Operator, and after you have clicked Lock, the current mobile ID is locked and you can directly supply a new mobile ID for the user.

Step-by-step instruction for the operator
Log in to Identity Manager Operator
- Log in to Identity Manager Operator with your user account.
Lock mobile ID for a user
- In the Quick search drop-down list, select User. Search for user that you shall lock a mobile ID for.
Click Lock Mobile ID.
To cancel the process, see "Cancel the process" below.
Click Next and the mobile ID is locked.

To cancel the process:
- Click Cancel to close the process.
- Click Next to proceed with the process.
