These are the options that can be set for how to handle expiring cards in the Cards package in Smart ID Identity Manager.
Manage the option to set up how often to send emails regarding expiring cards
- Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.
- In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
- Select the script CardsScriptExpiringOptions.
In the script, go to the CardsEmailBeforeExpiringDays variable, see the example. By default it is set to 60, 30, 14, 7, which means that an email will be sent out 60, 30, 14 and 7 days before the card expires.
Example:
- Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
Manage the option to send reminder emails
- Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.
- In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
- Select the script CardsScriptExpiringOptions.
In the script, go to the CardsEmailBeforeExpiringEachDay variable, see the example. By default it is set to true, which means that emails are sent out each day after the last day in CardsEmailBeforeExpiringDays, (in the example above, day 7 before expiring).
Example:
- If you do not want emails to be sent out after the last day in CardsEmailBeforeExpiringDays, set CardsEmailBeforeExpiringEachDay to false.
