Start state. Once the temporary card is requested it ends up in this state. |
The temporary card request was aborted. The operator can abort a temporary card request before it is issued. This is a final state. |
The temporary card production failed. The production of the temporary card failed and the card ends up in this state.

The temporary card has expired. A temporary card which is assigned to a user and expires ends up in this state. The operator can withdraw the expired temporary card, ending up with the state unassigned. |
The temporary card is assigned to a user. A temporary card can be withdrawn from the user while in this state, ending up with the state unassigned. |
The temporary card is unassigned. The temporary card can be assigned to a user while in this state, ending up in the state assigned. |
The temporary card is locked. A temporary card can be locked if in state assigned or unassigned. This is a final state. |
