Batch order - Lock certificates

This article describes how a Workplace helpdesk or Workplace certificate agent can lock multiple certificates simultaneously in the Workplace package in Smart ID Identity Manager.



The certificates must be in state "active" to be able to get locked.

Step-by-step instruction

Lock certificates
  1. In Identity Manager Operator, go to the BATCH ORDERS tab and select Lock certificates
  2. Select revocation reason and click Next.
  3. Click OK

A Workplace helpdesk or Workplace certificate agent wants to lock multiple certificates.


Depending on the selected revocation reason, the certificate state changes to:

  • affiliation changed
  • cessation of operation
  • key compromised
  • privilege withdrawn
  • superseded
