Use case scenario
An operator wants to change their own password.
This article describes how an operator changes their own password in Smart ID Identity Manager. Read more here: Smart ID Workforce use cases.
When you as a manager wants to change the password for an employee, use Reset password.
Prerequisites
- The user must be in state "active"
Step-by-step instruction for the operator
Log in to Identity Manager Operator
- Log in to Identity Manager Operator with your user account.
Change password
Go to Search and select your user.
To cancel the process, see "Cancel the process" below.
- Click Change password.
Enter the new password as shown in the UI.
Click Next to save the changed password.
Cancel the process
To cancel the process:
- Click Cancel to close the process.
- Click Next to proceed with the process.
