Temporary cards - Manage option to allow multiple active temporary cards

This article describes how to manage the option to allow multiple active temporary cards in the use case Assign temporary card in the Temporary cards package. A script in Identity Manager Admin is used to manage the options.

Step-by-step instruction for the administrator

Log in to Identity Manager Admin
  1. Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.
Manage the option to allow multiple active temporary cards
  1. In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
  2. Select the script TempCardsScriptOptions.
  3. In the section Multiple cards in the script, go to the TempCardsMultipleActive variable, see the example. By default it is set to false, which means that multiple active temporary cards are not allowed.

    Example:

    /*
    Defines if multiple active temporary cards are allowed.
    Possible options: 
     * true - Multiple active temporary cards are allowed. User is not restricted to only one temporary card.
     * false(default) - Multiple active temporary cards are not allowed. User is restricted to only one active temporary card.
    */
    TempCardsMultipleActive = false
  4. If you instead want multiple active temporary cards to be allowed, set TempCardsMultipleActive to true.
  5. Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
