Cards - Manage option to set the certificate end state

This article describes how to manage the option to set the certificate end state in the use case Issue card in the Cards package. Read more here: Smart ID Workforce use cases

A script in Identity Manager Admin is used to manage the options.

Step-by-step instruction for the administrator

Log in to Identity Manager Admin
  1. Log in to Identity Manager Admin as Administrator.
Manage the option to set the certificate end state
  1. In Identity Manager Admin, go to Home > Scripts.
  2. Select the script CardsScriptOptions.
  3. In the section Process end status in the script, go to the CardsCertificateIssueValid variable, see the example. By default it is set to false, which means that the certificates are on hold.

    Example: 

      /* 
    Defines if the end status of the certificates on the card are valid after its been issued.
    Possible options:
     * true - Certificates on the card are valid after its been issued.
     * false(default) - Certificates on the card are on hold after its been issued.
    */
    CardsCertificateIssueValid = false 
  4. If you instead want the certificates to be valid, set CardsCertificateIssueValid to true.
  5. Click Save in the upper left corner to save the updated script (or exit without saving if there are no updates).
